Today's Hike

Today we did the San Souci Hike . We started out by hiking down Kalakaua Ave, made a stop at the Healing Stones and watched the surfers surf a nice early season swell. Then we mounted our bikes and rode to San Souci beach, locking them up. From there, we explored the coastline to the east. We passed the Outrigger Canoe Club, made famous by Magnum PI, and had to negotiate a tricky tidal zone. From there we discovered a hidden boardwalk. This half mile walk showcased a lot of fine surf spots like Castles.
We returned the same and snorkeled at San Souci where we saw an eel and a variety of fish. We returned home along Ala Wai. I'd definitely recommend this one.
